Stamped Concrete in Greater Memphis

Every style of stamped concrete — wood-plank, slate, cobblestone, ashlar and custom medallions — in Memphis and all around it.

Stamped concrete is the work LGSH Construction is known for, and we do every style of it — wood-plank patios with grain real enough that people bend down to touch it, slate and cobblestone textures, ashlar patterns, colored walkways, even a custom compass-rose medallion poured right into the surface. Luis Sanchez has over 15 years of experience in stamped concrete, and the crew handles the whole job start to finish: grading and forms, the pour, the color, the stamping while the concrete is in its window, and the sealer that locks the finish in. Residential or commercial, backyard patio or downtown crosswalk — every photo on this site is our own work, and stamped concrete is where that work shows the most.

What's included

A stamped job lives or dies in the timing — the color has to be worked in, the release applied, and the stamps set while the concrete is exactly firm enough, because there is no second chance once it cures. That is why experience matters more here than in any other pour. We stamp patios, porches, entry steps, walkways and pool decks for homeowners, and we do commercial stamped work too — brick-pattern crosswalks stamped in the street while the lane is closed and traffic waits. Stamped concrete gives you the look of wood, stone or brick with far less upkeep: no boards to rot, no pavers to shift or sprout weeds — one solid slab, textured, colored and sealed to keep its face for years.

Stamped Concrete by city

Greater Memphis is not one market — a Germantown stamped patio, a Southaven driveway and a commercial slab downtown are three different pours, with three different specs.

Common questions

How is stamped concrete different from pavers or stone?
Stamped concrete is one solid slab, so nothing shifts, settles or grows weeds between joints the way pavers do — and it gives the same wood, stone or brick look with far less upkeep over the years.
Can I choose the pattern and the color?
Yes — we do every style of stamped concrete. Wood-plank, slate, cobblestone and ashlar are the favorites, colors run from warm reds to charcoals, and custom designs like the compass-rose medallion in our photos are on the table too.
How long before we can use the new surface?
Foot traffic usually within a day or two, and vehicles later — the concrete keeps gaining strength as it cures. We walk you through the timeline for your exact pour before we leave.
