Concrete Driveways in Greater Memphis

Driveways poured right — formed, finished, jointed and sealed to carry Memphis weather — in Memphis and all around it.

A driveway is the hardest-working concrete on your property — it carries cars every day, bakes in the Memphis sun and sits on clay soil that swells with every wet winter. We build driveways to take all of that: the old surface torn out if there is one, a base compacted properly instead of just spread, forms set straight, concrete poured at the right thickness, a broom finish for grip, control joints cut where the slab wants to crack, and sealer to close it up. New driveways, full replacements and extensions, for homes and businesses across Memphis and 65 miles around — every driveway photo on this site is our own pour. Free estimate in English or Spanish before anything starts.

What's included

The soil around Memphis is the reason driveways here fail early — the clay moves, and a slab poured over a weak base cracks within a few seasons no matter how good the concrete was. So the work under the surface is where we spend the time: grading, a compacted base, the correct depth for what will park on it. Then come the details you actually see — clean straight forms, an even broom finish that will not turn slick in the rain, joints laid out in a pattern that looks intentional instead of scattered. And a driveway does not have to be plain gray: it can carry color, or a stamped border, like anything else we pour. Aprons, turnarounds and parking pads included.

Concrete Driveways by city

Greater Memphis is not one market — a Germantown stamped patio, a Southaven driveway and a commercial slab downtown are three different pours, with three different specs.

Common questions

How long before we can park on the new driveway?
Concrete gains strength as it cures — foot traffic comes first, within a day or two, and vehicles wait several days more. We give you the exact timeline for your pour so nothing rolls onto it early.
Why do driveways around Memphis crack so early?
Usually the base, not the concrete — clay soil moves with wet winters, and a slab over a weak base follows it. A compacted base, the right thickness and clean control joints are what keep a driveway looking poured-yesterday.
Do you tear out the old driveway too?
Yes — tear-out is part of the job when the old surface needs to go. Breaking out the old slab, prepping the base and pouring new is everyday work for us.
