What we do

Every kind of concrete work, one number

From a plain broom-finished driveway to a stamped patio with a custom medallion, from a garage slab to a glossy epoxy floor — if it is concrete, we pour it, stamp it, stain it or coat it. And when the yard around that new patio needs a fence, we build that too.

Wood-plank stamped concrete patio with realistic grain

Stamped Concrete

Every style of stamped concrete — wood-plank, slate, cobblestone, ashlar and custom medallions like the compass rose at the top of this page. The wood-look patio in this photo is our stamp work: concrete that reads like lumber and never rots.

New concrete driveway freshly poured inside forms

Concrete Driveways

Driveways poured right — formed, finished, jointed and sealed to carry Memphis weather and Memphis clay. This photo is one of ours, still in its forms. New pours, and tear-out-and-repour for driveways that have done their sixty years.

Cobblestone-stamped covered patio behind a brick home

Patios & Sidewalks

Backyard patios, pool decks, sidewalks and walkways — plain, colored or stamped, like the cobblestone patio here behind a brick Memphis home. Outdoor floors that turn a plain yard into a room you actually use.

Power trowel finishing a large concrete slab

Concrete Slabs

Slabs for garages, sheds, additions and commercial floors — level, cured and cut clean. That is our power trowel in the photo, finishing a big pour. The base prep and the joints are what keep a slab flat for decades, and that is the part we never rush.

Silver-gray flake epoxy garage floor

Epoxy & Acid Stain Floors

Epoxy resin and acid-stain concrete floors — garages, basements and commercial spaces that shine. The silver flake garage floor in this photo is our coating work. Stain gives old concrete rich color; epoxy gives it a surface that shrugs off oil and tires.

Tall stained wood privacy fence

Wood Fences

Wood privacy fences built and stained to stand straight through Tennessee seasons — posts set solid, boards run true, stain that protects instead of just decorating. The tall stained fence in this photo is one we built.

Every photo on this page — the compass-rose medallion behind the headline, the pool decks, the crosswalk, the epoxy and stain floors, the fences — is our own work, on real driveways, patios and commercial jobs. The stamp texture, the color, the joint lines: that is the finish your project gets.

Why LGSH

Concrete is one shot — it has to be poured right

Paint can be redone next weekend. A slab cannot. Once the truck pours and the surface sets, the base, the finish and the joints are what you live with for thirty years — which is why who pours it matters more than in almost any other trade.

15+ years in the hard finishes

Over 15 years of experience in stamped concrete, epoxy resin and wood fences — the finishes where experience shows the most. Anyone can pour gray; stamping a medallion or laying a flake floor that stays flawless is learned one job at a time.

Commercial and residential

The same crew that stamps a backyard patio also stamps commercial crosswalks and finishes store floors — you can see both in the gallery above. Commercial deadlines teach discipline; residential work teaches finish. Your project gets both.

English & Spanish

Estimates, questions and updates in whichever language is easier for you — and always with the person actually doing the pour, not an office in between. Half our customers prefer English, half prefer Spanish; both get the same answers.

One number, 65 miles

(901) 270-3477 takes calls, texts and WhatsApp, and the crew covers Memphis and everything within 65 miles — Bartlett, Germantown, Collierville, Millington, and across the line into Southaven and Olive Branch, Mississippi.

How it works

From first call to finished pour

1

Call or WhatsApp

Tell us what you want poured, stamped, stained or built — your city, the rough size, and when. Photos of the space help a lot. English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.

2

Get a free estimate

A clear price built on your actual project — the square footage, the finish, the access for the truck. Always before work starts, never a surprise after.

3

Schedule the pour

We set the date around the weather and around your life — forms up, base compacted, and the concrete ordered for a day that lets it cure right, not just a day that is convenient.

4

Stamped, sealed, done

The pour is finished, stamped or troweled, jointed, cured and sealed — and you get clear instructions on when you can walk on it and when you can drive on it.

Memphis reality

Memphis ground plays by its own rules

Concrete that lasts in the Mid-South is not the same job as concrete that lasts somewhere dry and flat. The clay moves, the winters are wet, the summers are brutal on a curing slab — a crew that pours here every week plans for all of it.

Clay soil and wet winters

Delta clay swells when the winter rain soaks in and shrinks when summer bakes it out. A slab poured straight on that clay cracks early. The fix is underneath: a compacted base, the right thickness, and joints cut where the slab wants to move — so it cracks in the joint, not across your patio.

Hot summers, careful curing

A Memphis July can pull the water out of fresh concrete faster than it can gain strength, and that is how a new driveway ends up dusty and weak on top. We time hot-weather pours early, protect the surface, and let the slab cure at its own pace — the strength is built in the first week.

Driveways at the end of their life

Whole neighborhoods in Memphis and Bartlett were poured in the 60s and 70s, and those driveways and sidewalks are done — heaved, scaled, cracked past saving. Tear-out and repour is everyday work for us: out by morning, formed by afternoon, and a new driveway that outlives the old one.

Commercial jobs on a clock

A stamped crosswalk on a commercial street or a store floor has a schedule attached — lanes reopen, doors open, and the concrete has to be ready. We plan commercial pours backwards from the deadline: cure time, saw cuts, sealer, everything counted before the truck is ever ordered.

Who does the work

The concrete on this page is the résumé

LGSH Construction is Luis Sanchez's company, based in Memphis, Tennessee, and pouring across the 901 and 65 miles around it — Memphis, Bartlett, Germantown, Collierville, Millington, and over the state line into Southaven and Olive Branch, Mississippi. The compass-rose medallion behind the headline, the wood-plank patios, the red pool deck, the flake epoxy garages, the stamped crosswalk on a commercial street: every one of those photos is our own work, on real jobs.

Luis brings over 15 years of experience in stamped concrete, epoxy resin and wood fences — the decorative end of the trade, where the difference between a good crew and a cheap one is printed into the surface forever. That standard carries into everything else: a plain broom-finished driveway gets the same base prep, the same joints and the same sealer as a showpiece patio, because in ten years the finish you paid for is the finish you are still parking on. Call or WhatsApp, in English or Spanish, and you are talking to the person who will be on your pour.

Common questions

Straight answers

How much does a concrete project cost?

It depends on the square footage, the finish and the access — a plain broom-finished driveway, a stamped patio with color, and an epoxy garage floor are three very different prices per foot. That is why the estimate is free and built on your actual project. Send photos and rough measurements by WhatsApp and you get an honest number, always before any work starts.

What stamped patterns and colors can I choose?

Every style of stamped concrete — wood-plank, slate, cobblestone, ashlar, brick and custom medallions like the compass rose at the top of this page — in a full range of colors, from warm reds and charcoals to light stone tones. If you are not sure what fits your house, tell us the look you want and we bring options to the estimate.

Can you replace my old cracked driveway?

Yes — tear-out and repour is everyday work for us. We break out the old slab, haul it off, fix the base underneath so the new pour does not inherit the old problem, and pour a new driveway with proper joints and sealer. Most of the driveways failing around Memphis are simply sixty years old; the replacement, done right, is a once-in-a-lifetime job.

How long before I can walk or drive on new concrete?

As a rule of thumb: foot traffic after about a day or two, vehicles after about a week, and full strength at 28 days — and Memphis heat or cold moves those numbers, which is part of why cure planning matters here. We give you the exact timeline for your pour and your season before we leave the job.

Do you do commercial work?

Yes — commercial and residential both. Stamped crosswalks, store and shop floors, epoxy and stain finishes for commercial spaces, and slabs that have to open on a date. The stamped crosswalk in the gallery is our commercial work; the same crew pours it all.

Which cities do you cover?

We are based in Memphis and work everything within about 65 miles — Bartlett, Germantown, Collierville and Millington in Tennessee, and Southaven and Olive Branch across the line in Mississippi. If your town is inside that circle, call and ask; the truck goes where the work is.

Where we work

Memphis and 65 miles around — into Mississippi

MemphisBartlettGermantownColliervilleMillingtonSouthaven, MSOlive Branch, MSand all around

Greater Memphis is not one market — a Germantown stamped patio, a Southaven driveway and a commercial slab downtown are three different pours, with three different specs, and we treat each one like what it is. From our base in the 901, every one of these cities is close enough for a fast estimate and a crew that shows up when the concrete truck does — and yes, that includes crossing the state line into Mississippi, same crew, same number.
